Every player needs to bring: 1) Their own basketball with name clearly written on it 2) Their own water bottle - labelled 3) Indoor running shoes 4) Gym shorts and a t-shirt 5) Long hair tied up and off of face 2 LUNCH OPTIONS: 1) Parents pick up and take athletes out for lunch 2) Campers bring a lunch and eat it in a supervised area at Miller High School
At Hoops in the Heat basketball camp we believe in developing fundamental skills. Our clinicians are encouraged to provide all campers with specific feedback with the hopes of developing their individual skills. We want kids to learn basketball while having fun practicing and playing basketball. We keep our athlete to clinician ratio's at 1:12 because we believe skill development is a priority at this age and any ratio higher does not allow specific player feedback.
